What buyers ask

What fund teams ask before launching a vault

We have no Web3 engineers.

Upshift builds and runs the vault through Vault-as-a-Service. Your team runs the strategy.

Deposits must be KYC'd.

Vaults can be fully permissioned: the front end runs KYC and AML, and only allow-listed wallets can deposit.

Who prices the book?

Upshift's multi-oracle engine prices every position independently of the manager, and the NAV is readable onchain.

Who distributes it?

Live vaults are listed on app.upshift.finance and can reach wallets and platforms that integrate the SDK.

How is our mandate enforced?

The policy engine restricts deployment by chain, protocol, token and contract function. Anything outside the mandate reverts.

FAQs

Can an asset manager launch a fund as an onchain vault?

Yes. Upshift builds and runs the vault, and the manager runs the strategy inside a mandate the policy engine enforces onchain.

Can deposits be limited to KYC'd investors?

Yes. The front end runs KYC and AML checks, and only allow-listed wallets can deposit.

Who calculates NAV?

Upshift's multi-oracle engine prices every position independently of the manager. Third-party reporting is available through Securitize at an LP's request.

Does the manager hold investor funds?

No. The vault contract holds the assets, and the manager can only move funds between whitelisted protocols.

Are returns guaranteed?

No. Vault returns depend on the strategy and market conditions.

Which chains are supported?

Upshift runs on 30+ chains, including Ethereum, Base, Monad, Stellar and Solana.
